Who are we?
Amayo is a company made up of two phases corresponding to two different societies: Wind Consortium Amayo SA and Phase II Wind Consortium Amayo, SA
Those companies have as part of the same firms Centrans ARCTAS and who have a strong record in developing energy projects in new and emerging markets and a successful experience in the development and operation of energy projects in Central America, including Corinth Power plant of 70 MW in Nicaragua.
The Windfarm Amayo currently has an installed capacity of 39.9 MW, consisting of 19 wind turbines Suzlon mark with a capacity of 2.1 MW each (Model S88), and a capacity of 23 MW under construction, with 11 wind turbines Suzlon brand (Model S88 ) of 2.1 MW each.
Both companies have signed a purchase agreement with Union Fenosa, as a result of competitive bidding overseen by the Nicaraguan Energy Institute (INE).
